Hubert E Guest is the President of the Health Action Forum of Prince George’s County.
Mr. Guest is a retired Public Administrator having served in several cabinet level positions with the cities of Cincinnati, Ohio and Hartford Connecticut. He was the Assistant City Manager for Economic Development for the City of Hartford. In Cincinnati, Mr. Guest served and held the positions of Planning Director, Director of Building and Inspections, Community Development Block Grant Coordinator and Director of the City’s Demonstration Cities Agency (Model Cities). He began his city planning career with the city of San Diego, California. Mr. Guest held the position of Deputy Director/Treasurer of the Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation, a not for profit charted by Congress.
For several years, Mr. Guest served as Chief Administrative Officer for the African American Chamber of commerce of Cincinnati, Ohio and Northern Kentucky. Mr. Guest holds a BA degree in Architecture from Kansas State University and a MCP degree in Community Planning from the University of Cincinnati.
Active in organizations committed to community development and civic engagement, Mr. Guest has been a board member of the National Civic League, where he also serves as a juror for the All American Cities Competition. He has served as the co-chair of the Alliance for National Renewal.
He and his wife Barbara have lived in Cheverly, Maryland for 15 years.
